HCPA is pleased to again welcome award-winning singer-songwriters Sean Altman and Jack Skuller to perform as The Everly Set, A Celebration of the Everly Brothers. The duo performed their Forever Simon & Garfunkel program during HCPA’s 2022-2023 season, and were so popular, we had to bring them back.
In 1957, teens Phil and Don Everly supercharged the vocal sound of Rock’n’Roll with “Bye Bye Love” and “Wake Up Little Susie”, unleashing the sparkling vocal harmonies that would influence The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, The Eagles, Peter Paul & Mary, and the Bee Gees.
Now, six decades later, two acclaimed NYC singer-songwriters with a mind-bending three-decade age difference combine millennial pluck with baby-boomer wisdom to present The Everly Set: Sean Altman & Jack Skuller Celebrate The Everly Brothers.

Sean Altman (Rockapella) & Jack Skuller (Songwriters Hall Of Fame Buddy Holly Prize) met on stage in 2010, when they were paired at a variety show to perform the duet, Mrs. Robinson. Jack had just celebrated his 14th birthday, and Sean was celebrating many years as a solo performer, but the audience found their performance to be enchanting and mesmerizing. The pair has toured as The Everly Set since 2016.
