Often referred to as Ireland’s Greatest Showman, David Shannon has been singing professionally for more than 25 years. David has played the leading roles in some of Broadway’s famous Musicals including The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, Valjean (Les Misérables), Miss Trunchbull (Matilda), Sweeney Todd (Sweeney Todd), Jesus and Judas (Jesus Christ Superstar), Chris (Miss Saigon) and more. David was nominated for best actor at the Olivier’s for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Beautiful Game. He is well-known for his engaging performance style, enhanced by his charming personality. David is known for his ability to cross multiple musical genres.
